Build confidence and skills for a healthy pregnancy

If you have recently been diagnosed with gestational diabetes, it’s normal to feel unsure or have lots of questions. This group session will provide you with practical information and support to help you manage your blood glucose levels and look after your health and your baby’s health. 
 
In this supportive 2-hour group session you will learn: 
  • what gestational diabetes is and how it develops 

  • why managing blood glucose levels is important 

  • how to monitor your blood glucose and what your targets should be 

  • tips for healthy eating and physical activity during pregnancy 

  • where to find ongoing support and trusted information

 
You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions and connect with others going through a similar experience.
 
The group is delivered by both a Diabetes Nurse Educator and an Accredited Practising Dietitian. 

Please note that this program is only suitable for adults aged 18 years and older.
